Review It! is a learner-led course evaluation tool developed by EXMSS with support from Ako Aotearoa to provide access to advice from students on what to expect from their courses.

Building on and succeeding the well-established Rate It! surveys, Review It! focuses on students' experiences. The question line captures student perceptions of weekly workload, content difficulty and unforeseen additional costs in study materials and resources, while directing students to consider how they engaged with the learning material and delivery. It encourages introspection and then asks what advice they would offer future students; comments relate to the student's learning experience or offer advice.

The benefits of the survey extend both to students and the institution; students have access to clear first-hand course testimonials, while Massey benefits from the potentially reduced number of withdrawals and course changes due to student expectations not being met.

Students will be invited to complete the survey by email and their responses will remain confidential. The moderated results of the reviews will then be made available online to any prospective student.

At the completion of each survey period all those who fill in a Review It! survey will go into a draw to receive one of four iPod Shuffle MP3 players. Winners will be notified by email.
